Experienced BIRD Breeder
I am a hobby breeder and created Featherbelle Aviary with just a few special pairs of Pacific parrotlets, Green Rump Parrotlets, Spectacle Parrotlets, Linnies, Abyssinian lovebirds, Fischer, masked and peach face lovebirds, grass keets, Kakarikis, conures, to raise to become your forever companion. All my birds, including breeders, are treated as pets with lots of toys, all sorts of gourmet food and love. I want my babies to find homes that treat them as well as I do. I ship from Southern CA for an additional charge to approved buyers via Delta. These birds are raised in a healthy, loving environment.

I raise my birds with loving care. I co-parent. They're handled and tamed from two weeks of age, and turn out to be friendly birds who have no fear of hands. It's up to you to continue to handle your bird and form a bond.
Please note that if you ask me to hold a bird after weaning, your bird will be missing out on your one-to-one interaction and may arrive less tame. I have multiple babies who require my attention.

Be patient with me. This is my hobby. I take care of the family, take care of the laundry and the appliances that break, the cooking and cleaning and shopping, take care of the birds and work a full-time job, so please know I value you as a customer, but I'm living a busy life over here as well. I do my best but am not available 24/7. I do not have a 9-5 desk job, so am not readily available. When I get home, it’s all about the birds.. Lots of food and water to change, and make sure my babies aren’t running out of toys and I’m socializing them. I do not waitlist birds. I ask you email me so I can get back to you when I have a chance. Thank you for your patience.

If you do not live in the San Bernadino, CA area, or unable to drive here, no problem!
Shipping is available out of Ontario or LAX Airport for $275-300 through Delta Pets First, This includes a pet crate plus everything the baby needs for the flight. This service is available to customers anywhere in the United States that Delta flies, COVID permitting. We only ship through the airlines, and will give you everything needed to track flights and pick-up your new baby from the airport. Flights can only take birds in weather between 45-80F. I know you want your baby. Remember, I have no control over the weather.

So you live in driving distance to the San Bernardino, CA area? Great news! You can pick your baby up locally. I breed out of my private home. I’m happy to provide pictures and videos and meet at a neutral location for local pick-ups. The one and only place I use for local pickups is the Subway 31387 Outer Hwy 10 S, Yucaipa, CA 92399. I like meeting here because if my customers have had a long drive, the snacks are good and restrooms clean. I'm sorry that I cannot meet halfway or do any distance driving.

To reserve your baby, a 50% deposit is required. I accept payments through entities that keep your credit card and bank information secure. Currently I accept Venmo and Zelle. If picking up locally, you can also pay the remainder with cash. I'm sorry I do not accept Paypal, credit cards or checks. (I do not want to know your bank account or credit card numbers! lol). Featherbelle Aviary will guarantee all babies to be free from any pre-existing disease upon our examination. If you’re baby is diagnosed with a disease or life threatening issue, by a certified Avian Veterinarian, within 7 days of pick-up or shipping, we will replace upon bird availability. If shipping is needed, buyer is responsible for shipping cost of replacement bird. Our leg band must remain on the bird. Please Note: Only our babies with our leg bands will be guaranteed. Upon purchasing a bird from us you are agreeing to these terms.
We do recommend your baby see an avian veterinarian within the allotted time frame to qualify for this guarantee.
Please watch them in their new environment as these are little babies and can get stressed at times. Make sure they are eating and drinking and don't appear weak or this could be a sign they are not eating properly.

I took in birds from my friend who passed away Dec 2023. I will continue her efforts in conservation breeding for these Brotogeris. I will be keeping most babies this year (2024) for future breeding. Check out the FB & Instagram for updates and watch them grow. They will be posted here and there when and if available. Birds are first-come, first-served, no waitlists. No, I'm sorry I cannot contact you when I have a certain bird available as I don't do waitlists anymore.

TRAVEL CAGE FOR LOCAL PICKUPS - $40
I do carrier training on all of my babies so they're used to it, and the trip home is less stressful. If you'd like to purchase a new version of baby's travel carrier to take baby home, you may. It has filled food and water cups, millet, a toy, baby blanket, a covered perch, to make grasping easier in the car, and a faux grass bottom to cushion baby if the ride is bumpy. Costs me about $40 to assemble, so that's what I charge for it. Just let me know ahead of time so I can have it ready for baby's ride home!

You bought baby but didn't get your Amazon/Chewy food order yet? No problem! You can purchase a limited quantity of food to take baby home and get started! One pound of seed mix can be purchased for $10..
Millet for local pickups- $15/1 lb
Babies need millet available 24/7 when they go home. They will be stressed and the stress causes them to burn extra calories. Millet is very nutritious for them and is the only food that can keep up with their caloric requirements during this time. If you forgot to get your millet, let me know ahead of time and I can supply you with 1-3 lbs to get started for $15/1 lb. The price has gone up all over with COVID.
